Led by the Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce’s Young Professional Alliance and focusing on connecting, retaining, and recognizing the young professionals in our area, the following three committees are seeking new members:
YP Special Recognition Event Planning Committee
Similar concept to “40 under 40” or “30 in their 30’s”, the YP Alliance is creating an annual event to recognize nominated young professionals who are making Broome County a great place to live. This committee is brand new and members will participate in brainstorming and event planning.
YP Internship Program Planning Committee
In an effort to keep future young professionals in our area, the YP Alliance is looking to develop a program to connect college students already placed in summer internships with our area’s young professionals. This committee is brand new and members will play an influential role in how interns in the area can connect with young professionals, whether it be through exclusive events or programming. Students will complete their internships and be motivated to seek permanent employment in Broome County.
YP Summit Planning Committee
Did you attend the YP Summit in September? Want to have a say in next year’s speakers, workshops, and other plans for the event? Now’s your chance to join the YP Summit Planning Committee!
