Want to connect with like minded young professionals ready to make an impact in Greater Binghamton? Register now for the 2022 Southern Tier Young Professional Summit on Thursday, October 13th! The event will be held in an innovative hybrid format– both in person at the Holiday Inn in Downtown Binghamton and online!
The YP Summit is a great opportunity for companies and organizations to provide professional development opportunities geared toward new and upcoming young professionals. The structure of the day allows for meaningful conversations and connections made between attendees, as well as building business and leadership skills. Nationally and regionally known speakers will lead over a dozen breakout sessions over the course of the event. Whether you attend in person or virtually, you will find this to be a rewarding experience!
Pricing is as follows:
Full Day In-Person Ticket: $100
Half Day In-Person Ticket: $55
Full Day Virtual Ticket: $55
Current STYP members will receive a $10 discount towards their admission! To obtain the code, email email@example.com prior to registering so your membership can be confirmed; you will be sent the code separately.

This event is open to members and non-members alike, so bring your friends and colleagues! Free light refreshments will be served.

Join STYP at our first event of 2022 at Garage Taco Bar on Wednesday, July 27th, from 6pm-9pm! We will have a Garage Taco Bar gift card raffle for new members and renewals, so check up on your membership status by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Have a friend who is a young professional and is looking for ways to network? Invite them along! Free light refreshments will be served.
The event will take place outdoors, but we will move inside if it rains. Rain or shine, stop on by!

Binghamton on Tap is back this February 19th! Come volunteer at Binghamton On Tap 2022, while helping support the Southern Tier Young Professionals– and have an awesome time doing it!
What will you do? Simple– pour beer, cider, or seltzer for patrons!
What will you get? Free admission to the event, a complimentary tasting glass, a t-shirt, and the ability to sample drinks during the event! Plus, hang out in an atmosphere filled with live music, delicious food available for purchase, and great vendors!
This year’s event is at the Doubletree by Hilton in Downtown Binghamton. Sessions are 1-4pm and 5-8pm; lunch will be provided for attendees that volunteer for both sessions. MUST BE 21 TO VOLUNTEER– sign up using the link below.
COVID-19 Guidelines; PLEASE READ:
- Full vaccination is required for all volunteers.
- Volunteers need to have their Johnson & Johnson dose or their second Moderna or Pfizer dose no later than 2/4/2022.
- Security will check proof of vaccination on site. Acceptable proof of vaccination include: physical vaccination card, Excelsior Pass, clear digital vaccine card (such as the verified vaccination record added to Apple Wallet), or government digital vaccine proof from outside NYS. Have you ever been interested in brewing your own hard cider? It’s not as difficult as you might think!
This week through Saturday, November 27th, you can purchase supplies and access an exclusive recording from the experts at The North Brewery! This recording contains instructional footage from our live streamed How-to-Brew: Hard Cider event last year. This year, we are partnering with The Cider Mill to help you brew the best-tasting batch of cider you can possibly make! Additionally, STYP members will receive exclusive discounts on cider and brewing supplies upon registration! There’s a cider only discounted option for those who already have brewing kits. To order multiples of any items, an option to increase quantity will be available at checkout.
Once you purchase a brewing kit, it can be used indefinitely for future recipes– from hard cider to beer to even wine (psst… this might come in handy for an upcoming STYP event; stay tuned!)! Batches brewed before the end of the month will be ready just in time for the December/January holiday season!

The deadline to purchase is Saturday, November 27th at noon. Additionally, any cider purchased from the Cider Mill must be picked up by Sunday, November 28th.
