May 10th at 5:30 PM – STYP Quarterly Meeting & Mixer
Join STYP for our first 2018 Quarterly Meeting, sponsored by the Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce, at the Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce’s new location at 5 S College Drive (near BCC’s campus)!
Our meeting will feature presentations by the Chamber of Commerce and The Agency, both of which are located at the newly constructed facility where our meeting is hosted. Each will discuss the opportunities, benefits, and resources they offer young professionals in our area, while discussing their organization’s mission and purpose, along with the work that they do. Additionally, the Chamber will provide an overview of the recently formed “Young Professional Alliance” (YPA) that STYP is a member of, discuss the Alliance’s mission and upcoming events, and answer your questions. At the end of our meeting, we will have the opportunity to take a brief tour of the newly constructed facility.
Following our meeting, we will adjourn to Galaxy Brewing Company for a networking mixer, beginning at about 7:00pm. Complimentary appetizers will be provided.

April 8th at 11:00 AM – STYP & TSB Canstruction Build
On April 8th, STYP is once again teaming up with Tioga State Bank for the Southern Tier’s 5th Annual CANSTRUCTION!
Canstruction® is an international hunger-relief competition where architects, engineers, contractors, and community members compete to design and build giant structures made entirely from full cans of food. We will be constructing downtown Binghamton’s historic courthouse!
The canned food, other food items used in our structure, and any monetary donations collected will be distributed throughout CHOW and the Food Bank of the Southern Tier to emergency food programs throughout Broome County, including soup kitchens, the backpack program, and other community meal programs.
Please RSVP “Going” if you plan on attending, and email Kyle Nedlik at kbnedlik@gmail.com if you have any questions.
More information on the event can be found at the links on the following page: https://www.foodbankst.org/canstruction. Check out the “Discussion” tab on this event to view our proposed design!
Our structure will be up for a week at the Oakdale Mall after the build date for public viewing, so check it out if you can!
