Join STYP Wednesday, June 12th from 6-9pm for a night of fun, games, and networking at the Crowbar Arcade, located at 195 State Street in downtown Binghamton! Full of retro 80s vibes, the Crowbar brings an adult twist to the classic old school arcades from back in the day. Bring your friends for an evening of gaming nostalgia!

Join STYP as we beautify our Adopt-A-Highway location, Exit 70N westbound on Route 17, just behind Food & Fire BBQ~Taphouse. Lockheed Martin will be cleaning up their adjacent space at the same time.

Volunteers will meet in the McDonald’s parking lot at 9:00 AM. Volunteer forms, trash bags, reflective vests, and gloves will be provided. Volunteers must fill out a form prior to participation (the day of is fine).

Coffee and light refreshments will be available for everyone at the work site. Lunch to follow at Food & Fire.

Spring has sprung! Join STYP on Tuesday, April 30th from 6-9pm as we visit The Grove Restaurant & Bar for the first time! The Grove serves Halal-American fusion food and is a newer addition to Downtown Binghamton. Bring a friend and come connect with other local professionals. 

The Taco Tuesday deals are so good that you can try as much as your stomach will allow– $1 tacos, $6 jumbo margaritas, and buy one, get one 1/2 off on all drinks. We can’t wait to see you there!

Join STYP on Saturday, March 16th from 2-3pm for ice skating at Dick’s House of Sports in Johnson City (located in the Oakdale Commons)! Then, warm up with us afterwards for a mixer at Mooney’s Sports Bar & Grill until 5pm! Members and non-members alike are welcome, so invite your friends and family!

No skates? No problem! You can rent ice skates at the rink.

Join STYP on Saturday, March 2nd, for the clash of the big cats as the Binghamton University Bearcats face off against the New Hampshire Wildcats! If you’ve been looking to check out a Binghamton University men’s basketball game for the first time or have been wanting to return to the court, we are offering Bearcat Den tickets for this event! How does this compare to regular tickets? You get unlimited food and soft drinks, in addition to having a chill place to socialize! 

Doors open at 1pm and the game begins at 2pm. The Den opens at 1pm and will remain open until the end of halftime. 

Tickets are $10 for current STYP members and $15 for non-members! All registrants will receive a wristband at the event, allowing you to go between the Den and the game with ease.

Come volunteer for Binghamton On Tap 2024, while helping support the Southern Tier Young Professionals– and have an awesome time doing it! This year’s event will be on Saturday, March 23rd. 

What will you do? Simple– pour beer, cider, or seltzer for patrons!

What will you get? Free admission to the event, a complimentary tasting glass, a t-shirt, and the ability to sample drinks during the event! Plus, hang out in an atmosphere filled with live music, delicious food available for purchase, and great vendors!

This year’s event is at the Visions Veterans Memorial Arena in Downtown Binghamton and runs from 5-9pm. PLEASE ARRIVE AT LEAST 15 MINUTES EARLY IF YOU ARE VOLUNTEERING!

Join the Southern Tier Young Professionals at United Methodist Homes- Hilltop Campus on Saturday, February 10th for our first Valentine’s Day Social with the residents of Hilltop Senior Living Center since 2020!

The social will begin at 2:30 PM and go until 3:30 PM. Volunteers should plan to arrive by 2:00 PM to help set up for the party. Clean up should take approximately 15 minutes following the conclusion of the event. Be festive. Wear Red or Pink!

This annual event is always fun, providing great memories for the residents of Hilltop and volunteers alike as we sing, play games, and eat. Please sign up at the link below to provide a headcount.
