The Southern Tier Chapter of the NYSSCPA NextGen presents “A Picnic at the Binghamton Mets”.

STYP Summer Celebration at Thai Time on July 21st at 6:00 PM
Join us for our Biggest Bash of the Year to be held this year on the patio of Thai Time Restaurant where we will have food and a DJ!
We will be giving away prizes to new members and anybody who brings a new member will be entered into a raffle to win one of our Grand Prizes!

Volunteer for LG&T Tennis Challenger from July 16th to July 24th
The Levene Gouldin and Thompson Tennis Challenger is quickly approaching; this year’s tournament will be held July 16-24, at Recreation Park, Binghamton NY. Volunteer slots and registration are athttp://binghamtonchallenger.com/volunteer/
There are three types of volunteer positions available: Ticket Booth, Drivers, and Ushers. This event is a lot of fun to volunteer at, especially if you sign up with a friend, and you can choose a time to volunteer that best tailors to your schedule.

STYP BLI Scholarship
Last year STYP set up a scholarship to help send young professionals to the Broome Leadership Institute (BLI). STYP shares the BLI mission of developing leadership skills and community involvement in young professionals. The STYP scholarship will provide a few hundred dollars to current STYP members who need financial assistance for the program. If interested, email bli@styp.org.
Volunteer for Dick’s Sporting Goods Open Concert on July 8th from 5:30 to 11:00 PM
Please join STYP as we volunteer at the Dick’s Open!
STYP plays a huge role in volunteering during the Friday night concert at the Dick’s Open. For this year’s Florida Georgia Line concert, we will be volunteering in the main concession tent from 5pm until approximately 11pm. All volunteers will get a ticket for Friday access to the golf tournament and concert, a free T-Shirt, and an invitation to a great volunteer party at En-Joie the week before the event.
The main concession tent is right behind the first tee by the concert area, so there is the added benefit of being able to listen to the for free! You can pick up your shirt on Friday at the concession tent once you arrive.
How to Register to Volunteer: Go to the Website, register and create a username, and for “First Choice” select: “Concessions – Concert (Main Concession/Beer Truck – Ryan Mead)”. For availability, select the “Friday, July 8, 2016 – PM” box.
Additionally, please send an email to Kyle Nedlik at kbnedlik@gmail.com, so that STYP can make sure that your T-Shirt and spot is accounted for the day of the event, and to receive an update email with pertinent information the week of the event.
*STYP Volunteers do not have to purchase the volunteer golf shirts – these are for other volunteers like course marshals and security.
*All volunteers are invited to the Dick’s Open Volunteer Appreciation Party, date TBA. There will be food, drinks, music, and prize giveaways at the party.

One race will be named “STYP” race and we will have a group picture taken with the winning horse!
