Binghamton Rescue Mission Adopt an Angel Gift Collection
This holiday season, STYP will once again be participating in the Binghamton Rescue Mission’s “Adopt an Angel” Christmas gift collection drive. The Rescue Mission is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending hunger and homelessness in Syracuse, Auburn, Binghamton and Ithaca.
Each year, dozens of individuals, groups, families and churches join the Rescue Mission in reaching out in love to those in need through their donations and gifts.

We will have a collection bin for drop off of donations at our following events:
Nov. 23 – STYP Thanksgiving Mixer at Number 5
Dec. 22 – STYP Holiday Mixer at Social on State

Tuesday, November 15th we are excited to welcome Visions Federal Credit UnionEO Ty Muse and Binghamton University President Harvey Stenger for a first series of networking events with Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce.

Wine Club at Southbridge Wines & Spirits on January 12th from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM
NOTE: This event was originally scheduled for Novembers 17th and has been moved to January 12th.
Join STYP for the next Wine Club on Thursday, January 12th at Binghamton’s very own local and fine wine shop, Southbridge Wines & Spirits!!!
They will be hosting us at their beautiful upscale, state-of-the art tasting bar! They have a Wine Station that allows them to have wines “on tap” for sampling.
SO, come enjoy a unique variety of hand selected red and white wines to be sampled just for STYP members and a guest! RSVP by accepting this event and we will count you in on the fun! 🙂

Participate or Volunteer in “I Run For…” Races on September 11th from 7:45 AM to 11:30 AM
Enjoy a wonderful fall country run that will raise money to support the transformative research at Weill Cornell Medicine’s Meyer Cancer Center.
The I Run For… Half Marathon, Marathon, and 5k is also in need of 12 volunteers to be road marshals and provide parking lot support from 7:45 am to about 11:30 or noon on Sunday, Sept 11th. STYP 2nd Annual Golf Classic on September 10 from 11:30 AM to 7:00 PM
Attention all golfers! STYP is holding their 2nd Annual Golf Classic – a Fundraising Captain & Crew Tournament open to anybody on Saturday, September 10th at Traditions at the Glen in Johnson City. Registration/Lunch begins at 11:30 with a Shotgun start at 1 pm. A dinner reception/mixer to follow.
The cost for this event is only $300 per foursome. This price includes
• 18 holes of golf w/ riding cart
• Door prizes for each player
• Beer on the course
• BBQ Lunch
• Dinner reception with various awards & Raffles
• Putting challenge on the practice green
• Longest drive contests
