July 29th from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM – STYP 3rd Annual Golf Classic sponsored by Wayfare Facility Management
Attention all golfers! STYP is holding their 3rd Annual Golf Classic – a Fundraising Captain & Crew Tournament open to anybody on Saturday, July 29th at Traditions At The Glen Resort and Hotel in Johnson City. Registration/Lunch begins at 11:30 with a Shotgun start at 1 pm. A dinner reception/mixer to follow.
The cost for this event is only $300 per foursome. This price includes
• 18 holes of golf w/ riding cart
• Door prizes for each player
• Beer on the course
• Lunch
• Dinner reception with various awards & Raffles
• Putting challenge on the practice green
• Longest drive contests
• Closest to the Pin
• Skins Contest (optional at additional cost)
PLUS a chances to win great other prizes!
$75 single registrations will be accepted, however full foursomes will be given priority. If you want to golf and need help pairing, please contact us! Tickets for Dinner/Mixer ONLY will be sold for $25.

Our biggest event of the year is here! Join us at the Galaxy brewing Company on their beautiful outdoor area for food and music!
We will be giving away prizes to new members and anybody who brings a new member will be entered into a raffle to win some awesome prizes!

Join STYP and Lockheed Martin’s New Hire club, RMS Connect for a fun filled night at the Tioga Trails Cafe rooftop bar in Owego!
There will be complimentary appetizers provided so please accept the invite if you plan on attending so we can get an accurate head count for food.
Tioga County Tourism will also be in attendance handing out brochures and pamplets on things to do and places to go in the area! So be sure to stop by their table when you get there.

RICHARD ORTH is a Learning Consultant, having over 38 years’ experience with IBM as a change leader, facilitator, trainer, leadership coach and business analyst. He helps client organizations improve their capabilities in the areas of cultural transformation, leadership development and process improvement.
Richard has developed and led workshops on culture change, transformational leadership, collaborative problem solving and decision making, and process facilitation.

Kick-off mixer for the Young Professional (YP) Alliance at The Garage on June 15th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
The Young Professional (YP) Alliance is being created to facilitate partnership between professional groups in the area including the Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce, Southern Tier Young Professionals, United Way Emerging Leaders Society and Broome County Urban League.
This event is hosted by the Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce and tickets can be purchased through them. STYP members will be reimbursed.

May 20th at 9:00 AM – Adopt a Highway Clean-Up
Join STYP in helping to clean up our Adopt-a-Highway location, Exit 70N westbound on Route 17, just behind Food and Fire!

Volunteers will meet in the McDonald’s parking lot at 9:00 a.m. Volunteer forms, trash bags, reflective vests, and gloves will be provided. Volunteers must fill out a form prior to participation (the day of is fine).
Coffee and donuts will be available for everyone at the work site!
May 11 at 6:00 PM – STYP Quarterly Meeting at the Double Tree
Please join STYP for our Quarterly meeting in the Serling Room at the DoubleTree. Broome County Executive Jason Garnar will speak and take questions on his vision for YPs in Broome County.
Immediately after will be a mixer in the River Bistro and live music will start at 8 pm!
