Kayaking with STYP at Dorchester Park; with to-go Lunch! Sept. 26th 12-2pm (MUST REGISTER; see details)
Come sail your stress away this weekend with STYP for kayaking at Dorchester Park– along with a to-go lunch! The weather is expected to be in the mid-70s with clear skies– making it a great day for some late summertime sailing!

Binghamton on Tap Volunteering
Volunteer at Binghamton On Tap 2019, while helping benefit the Southern Tier Young Professionals, and have an awesome time doing it! Our group’s volunteer shift is 5:00-8:00 on Saturday, February 8, 2019. MUST BE 21 TO VOLUNTEER – sign up using the link below.
Volunteers will pour beer for the event patrons, and will receive free admission, a complimentary tasting glass, and T-Shirt, and can sample beers freely during the event! Plus, hang out in an atmosphere filled with live music, delicious food available for purchase, and great vendors!

Escape Room Outing at Xscapes!
Join STYP on Thursday, December 12th, at 6:30PM for our second escape room outing at Xscapes on 135 East Frederick Street in Binghamton! Working together alongside your team, try your chance at escaping from one of the four escape rooms (descriptions below) before time runs out!
Cost:
$10 – STYP members
$20 – All other attendees
Must sign up on or before 12/12/2019 before Noon (extended deadline)
100% of your entry cost goes towards fundraising efforts for the Southern Tier Independence Center, whose mission it is to help people in our local community with various disabilities.
Important Information to Note:
-Signups will be limited to the first 32 people who register through the Paypal link (see below). Additionally, we can not accommodate late registrations or walk-ins for this event.
-You MUST arrive on time in order to participate. The venue does not allow for late starts.
-Escape room selection will be determined the day of the event once the entire group has arrived. If you have a preference, you may announce it then.

Pre-Thanksgiving Mixer at Los Tapatios!
What is STYP thankful for this year? Our members and friends!
The day before Thanksgiving please join us at Los Tapatios at 6 PM to celebrate friendship and another great year in the Southern Tier.
We will be collecting non-perishable food donations for CHOW at this event for anyone able to donate.
Specials include: $2 off margaritas, $0.99 tequila shots, $3 for house wines, all beer bottles, and White Claw, plus a number for food specials.
Light refreshments will also be served.

An Evening with Assemblywoman Donna Lupardo
Join the Southern Tier Young Professionals and Binghamton University’s Center for Civic Engagement for a conversation with Assemblywoman Donna Lupardo. Assemblywoman Lupardo will share her efforts to support young professionals and encourage more young people to call our community home, discuss the importance of civic involvement, and encourage young people to find opportunities to make a difference in our community. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in discussion and ask questions.
